Which one do you use? Let’s see which one you should, depending upon what you want.

BTW take a short look at Gemini’s plethora of interesting options here lol.

Story
I was designing an app when I fell short of a word. I wanted a tagline for my app and was wanting an antonym of the word “professionally” to be specific.
I was thinking and recalling for a while, as we all used to do earlier, but then I saw the Copilot tab opened right besides the tab I was on, so I went straight to that and typed the terms very vaguely to judge and test the A.I., as I often do. And I am going to show you what I got.

Let’s see where each one lacks and excels~

Notice the A.I. algorithms of this one, casually talking to me like a friend on a chatting app —

I guess you would have guessed it right — It’s Microsoft’s…

Copilot

It did surprise me and brought a smile to my face with its way. But still, I was not satisfied. So, I wanted to go on… and because many parts of me found the conversation pretty interesting.

Read what it did just then —

It satisfied me completely, not only with the word “casually”, which it suggested me in a casual way as well. But also, I got the satisfaction with its way while giving other alternatives that no better word than that exists for my tagline.

Algorithm
It always gave me that last one liner which completes its way of talking to me casually but also resonated with my needs, caring about it in a wholesome way. Also, asking me what I think about its suggestions but not like other A.I.s do, which feels pushed and professional and A.I. like... but in a more friendly and intellectual way. Or should I say “conscious”? Haha!

Not only I am impressed and 😲 or should I say surprised(?), but also in an awe and kind of connected with the Copilot. An A.I. algorithm put together.

Brag
And by the way, I am using and testing A.I. before it came to a trend, and I also have talked to (conversed with) other chat pal bots and A.I.s and all, which have more friendly, social gestures and replies than these search engine replacements.

Look
The Copilot also has that Warm and (Navy) Blue look and feel to it, which is different from the other grey and black ones. Similarly, is the font.
And what we see on the whole screen is just the bottom fragment which is a very small and cute one and it expands horizontally only when we make the cursor active on it. It includes Chat, Image upload and Voice Input options. That’s it. Keeping it simple and minimalistic, which I really love!

ChatGPT

So, let’s jump to OpenAI’s ChatGPT now, because for testing and comparing other A.I.s, I inputted the same questions and replies of mine to them. Yeah, I was too free.

ChatGPT’s answers were professional. It didn’t try to be informal with me. No last liners either. The suggestions were almost the same as well.

But it gave its replies in points, not sentences, which were more readable. It so, feels like it was meant to give just what asked, and not preferably start a chat. Although it’s named “ChatGPT”.

This first input from me in this picture is the best tester of them all because it makes the A.I. judge its own earlier replies and then create something relevant to what I want.

In GPT, the last lines are always trying to justify its own replies. Copilot also did that as the part of conversation.

This is a good thing, which I liked because when asked for the alternatives lastly, it gave me many other options it had in points, unlike the Copilot, which maintained its sentences-as-replies strategy.

It did lastly ask if there’s anything else it could help me with my app. But the Copilot understood that I am not going to ask anything further, so it even wished me luck for my app and said it feels impactful.

It has a dark mode fully and “read aloud” option as well. Font is on the smaller side.

Gemini

Moving on to Google’s Gemini with the same thing.
Loads of options and big answers here. Large spaces as well. Oh God!

Oh my godd!!

OH MY GAWD!!!

One more picture to say something…

Font is the biggest here. And so many bold texts as well.

It’s giving me direct answers and loads of options within a variety of categories to select from. It also has that descriptive nature as well.

Notice that it did ask me if I need a refined answer.

Also gave examples at the end.

It did understand what I was doing in my app as we can feel from the last line in this last picture. Which is literally the sixth picture! Double the amount or quantity of output I got from others.

For whom
Gemini would be great for kids, researchers and for the people who want to know in depth (like myself, sometimes), as they are interested in loads of options and details.

I have briefly shown all the features of Gemini here.

All of them LACK…
But the follow up sentence in the efforts to continue the conversation was a slight skew from the topic going on. Kind of like the Copilot’s “Anything else on your mind?” which is vaguer. But yeah, A.I. like. I was expecting something like “Can I help you with making a second tagline similar to this for your app?” or “So, if this is the tagline, what’s the name you are going with for your app?”. You know what I mean?

So who’s the one??

But of all the testing I have personally done, (which I can’t show you how and what, because they are a lot and have been done on and off by me) — I think Gemini “understands” me the best way. And also has many interesting options and features which the other A.I. would not have even thought about they could include, moreover cared about. But they are fascinatingly decorated on Gemini. ✨

I know they are just a few examples for comparison, but I feel the same way for all these 3, from a long time. ̶T̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶s̶ ̶I̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶p̶u̶t̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶e̶s̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶b̶e̶g̶g̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶u̶r̶r̶i̶e̶d̶l̶y̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶l̶a̶s̶t̶-̶m̶i̶n̶u̶t̶e̶ ̶a̶s̶s̶i̶g̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶l̶e̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶s̶t̶r̶a̶t̶e̶g̶i̶e̶s̶.̶

it was

Minor flaws I noticed~

Other problems I noticed in all these 3 A.I. giants —

  1. Copilot has a lot of bugs and glitches. Which has always been a problem with Microsoft’s products. It is the same with ChatGPT as well but very rarely.
  2. The other thing is their Signing-Out problem. Copilot always wants me to Sign-In again whenever I open the tab or even if I reactivate the tab after some time. Same with ChatGPT again.

Gemini has no such issues as far as I observed in my usage. But it generates the worst random images. 🏆

Subscriptions
Another thing is that all of them — Copilot, Gemini and ChatGPT offer pro versions of their own which are advance paid subscriptions. But I don’t see Copilot forcing it on my face like the rest of them.

The truth

We should not forget that ChatGPT was meant to replace search engines but others were made to mostly save themselves from ChatGPT.
Although Microsoft helped OpenAI (ChatGPT’s company) a lot in making the A.I. and also took the help of it to make Copilot.

Uploading files
Copilot: You can upload files but limited file types accepted.
ChatGPT: Variety of file types supported. I even was able to get to know about my blood test report (.pdf file) and get some advices accordingly, which I was not able to do on rest of them because they don’t support .pdf file types.
Gemini: Only supports images in free version. Just like Copilot, I guess.

Verdict?~

I have seen Gemini giving more professional, pointful and complete answers with all the dos and don'ts. There is more depth, more ways to get the replies and other features which I talked about.
Whereas Copilot gives just the necessary answer or solution you need, casually. It feels friendly and warm and is minimalistic. I love that! It also understands my casually put questions as well, very greatly, where Gemini and GPT lacks. Also adds emojis and all, which is lovely!
Whereas, ChatGPT gives a balanced and simple reply leaning towards the formal side.

All of them have their own pros and cons and uniqueness so it depends on you what you want from an A.I..

Other A.I.s~

Apple Intelligence is also a thing like NPU in the current market but I don’t know much about it and I hope it’s not just done to follow the trend of Artificial Intelligence.

Meta is also great and the implementation in WhatsApp is kinda understandable but kinda dumb as well. It does what we expect from an A.I. to do normally. But it doesn’t even try to compete with the others in the market. Maybe later. But right now, it can’t even summarize my latest WhatsApp or Facebook chats or something like that, which Google and Microsoft are doing with their apps integrated and linked with their respective A.I.s.

Samsung’s A.I. is doing a great job with the picture editing and live translate and transcriptions. Although, Bixby has to learn a lot. I have an S23 but I use the A.I. features very seldom though.

Pixel’s A.I. being Gemini, has been improving rapidly with its picture editing and natural takes, especially the face expressions one is so cool and useful. I don’t have to worry about re-clicking again because I am the regular victim of “eyes were closed when the picture was clicked” scenario. I don’t know anything else about the pixel’s.

There are more A.I.s like this and some might be better or worse with their pros and cons but I personally feel the embedded ones in my browsers and apps I use already are handier for me in various ways and trustable as well.

Perks~

Gemini and Copilot being the children of Google and Microsoft, have a very big or may I call the biggest perk in terms of integration with their other apps, which a lot of people are already in.

So, Gemini already can give you anything related to your Gmail account, YouTube and a lot more as I have stated above in the connections.
Whereas Copilot can be linked and can offer different advantages integrating with OneDrive, Outlook, or maybe Office files as well. It does not offer all that right now, though, which is kind of a sham. Bummer!

ChatGPT has nothing like this but to keep updating their algorithm.

That’s why Copilot and Gemini have better advancements options and more ways to enhance themselves and become more effective for the majority of the users.

My favourite is Gemini. As I want detailed, point to point replies. Also because it is linked with other apps I already use and also that Live feature is superb on its app only yet. But also, I use Copilot sometimes for its casual replies. And also sometimes it is better at understanding me.

I have talked about A.I.s more but less here. Just a few lines with clean and random thoughts on technology in general. Go ahead!

a random image by copilot. loved it!

Monk Words🧘‍♂️

WHATEVER, but I love the casual attitude of Copilot LOL! Mic DROP!!~

What dya think? What’s yourz??~
